Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Attending Financial platform operated by Attending Financial LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

  • Attending Financial is a physician financial planning platform providing financial education, planning tools, AI-powered insights, and account aggregation.
  • The platform is a financial education and planning tool. It is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planning firm under applicable law.
  • Nothing on the platform constitutes personalized investment advice regarding specific securities, individualized tax advice, or legal advice.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
  • The platform is designed for physicians, residents, and other medical professionals in the United States. Use outside the United States is at your own risk.

3. Account Registration

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup.
  • A 14-day free trial is available for new subscribers. No credit card is required to start a trial.
  • After the trial period, your selected payment method will be charged automatically.
  • You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

5. AI Features and Financial Content

  • The AI advisor provides financial education and planning information based on your profile. It is not a licensed financial advisor.
  • AI responses are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute personalized investment, tax, or legal advice.
  • You should consult qualified professionals before making major financial decisions.
  • Financial information on the platform, including contribution limits, tax rates, and planning strategies, is based on publicly available information and may not be current. Verify important details with qualified professionals.

6. Financial Account Connectivity (Plaid)

  • If you connect financial accounts via Plaid, you authorize Plaid to access your financial data on your behalf.
  • We receive read-only access to account balances and transaction data. We cannot initiate transactions.
  • You may disconnect financial accounts at any time from Settings.

7. Contract Review Service

  • AI contract review is an educational service that provides analysis of employment contract terms.
  • Contract review outputs are not legal advice and do not create an attorney-client relationship.
  • Contract review fees are non-refundable once the analysis has been delivered.

8. Prohibited Uses

  • You may not use the platform to violate any law or regulation.
  • You may not attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users.
  • You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce the platform or its AI outputs at scale.
  • You may not use the platform to provide financial advice to third parties for compensation.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The platform, including its AI models, insights engine, design, and content, is the property of Attending Financial LLC.
  • Your financial data remains yours. We do not claim any ownership over data you provide to the platform.

10. Disclaimers

  • THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
  • WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
  • FINANCIAL MARKETS AND TAX LAW CHANGE FREQUENTLY. INFORMATION ON THE PLATFORM MAY NOT REFLECT THE MOST CURRENT RULES.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATTENDING FINANCIAL LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Indiana.

13. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the platform.
  • Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
